The Institute will present a Sexual Attitude Reassessment Seminar (SAR) in the southern Rhode Island area. The SAR is a structured group experience in which the major focus is on a process-oriented exploration of the individual's own feelings, attitudes, values, and beliefs regarding human sexuality and sexual behavior. Health professionals who develop a heightened sense of awareness display greater comfort with and incorporate a broader view of "normal" human sexual behavior and response. For those undergoing the process of certification through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, it is strongly recommended that this experience occur early in the applicant's training to be most beneficial.
